It all began as a simple pastime ... home made presents of love for family and friends...but soon ... I realised Im blessed with a special gift from God... Nothing surprises me more than being able to create these small treasures form a piece of fabric without the need for a pattern. I never quite know how each adorable bear will turn out... I am guided by my own minds eye... I love each ones own uniqueness... They are made with love and care... Making each bear an exclusive individual lasting treasured heirloom...
My own Bear Standards
All my bears are made to my own very high standards, I am naturally very fussy.
I like each bear to feel substantial, like a real little creature, so they are all weighted relevant to their size. even the tiny ones.
* They are all made from top quality fabrics.
* They all have matching paw pads.
* They all have cotterpin joints.
* Some have wobble jointed heads.
* They all have glass eyes.
* They are all stuffed with quality polyfill.
* They all are weighted with heavy steel shot.
* They all have matching paw pads.
* Some contain growlers.
* They are all collectable 1/1 limited editions.
* Each bear comes with an artists woven tag attatched and its own signed certificate of authenticity.
* Prior to using the woven artist tag each bear had a little spider logo on its footpad.
